St. Charles girl starts neighborhood library

This spring, 12-year-old Alexa Stephens sent a detailed presentation to the Arbor Creek Homeowners' Association board to install a Little Neighborhood Library.

As Arbor Creek is part of unincorporated St. Charles and not everyone has a library card, Alexa, who is an avid reader, thought it would benefit the neighborhood. The board thought this was a wonderful idea and approved her plan.

The ACHA Little Neighborhood Library is now open. They have installed the little library on the bike path off Baert Road, north of Hilltop Drive. They hope you will all use the library at your convenience. The books are a family friendly selection for children to adults.

There are two ways you can use the neighborhood library. You can take a book and return it; or you can take a book and leave another book in its place.
