Glen Ellyn Woman's Club awards scholarships to Glenbard West, South graduates

Glen Ellyn Woman's Club provided two local scholarships for the 2020 graduating classes of Glenbard South and Glenbard West High School.

At the Glenbard South Virtual Honors Program, Abby Schowalter was presented with her Woman's Club scholarship.Schowalter is attending the College of Wooster in Ohio pursuing a degree in biology and after medical school, she plans to be an emergency room physician.

The Glenbard West recipient is Riley Krudop. She is attending Colorado State University to study ecosystem science and sustainability. She hopes to pursue a career as an environmental science researcher or policy maker.

The Glen Ellyn Woman's Club is honored to award the scholarships to these two outstanding young women in order to support their higher education goals and their plans to give back to the community upon graduation.

Beginning its 126th year as a philanthropic organization, the Glen Ellyn Women's Club holds monthly meetings, social activities, and fundraisers to support the community from September to May annually.
