Ella's Friends to host annual book sale April 2-5 in Hampshire

Ella's Friends, the support group for the Ella Johnson Memorial Library in Hampshire, will be holding it annual book sale from April 2-5. The sale will be held at the Hampshire Township Building, 170 Mill Ave. in Hampshire.

On Opening Night, Thursday, April 2, from 4 to 8 p.m., admission will be $5 or non-perishable donations to the Burlington-Hampshire Area Food Pantry.

The sale will continue on Friday, April 3 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday, April 4 form 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., during which time entry is free.

On Sunday, April 5, from noon to 3 p.m. there will be a bag sale, $5 for a bag of items.

On sale will be books, CDs, DVDs, audio books and LPs, most priced $1 or less. All children's books will be 50 cents.

To date Ella's Friends has donated over $15,000 from its various fund-raising activities to pay for items and programs not included in the library's regular budget.
