Palatine Public Library event benefits Barb's Precious Rescue

Barb's Precious Rescue, Palatine, wishes to express a huge heartfelt "Thank You" to the Palatine Public Library and the Palatine community of readers. With their help, the Library's goal of 7,000 books were read during this year's Winter Reading Challenge.

As a result of meeting that goal, several local businesses donated money to help support their Rescues. The proceeds included: $1,000 - Palatine Bank & Trust; $1,000 - Warehouse Direct; and $500 - Andigo Credit Union Schaumburg.
