Palatine Park District Presents School's Out Fun

Kids Enjoy a Day Off School at Falcon Park Recreation Center

Plan your kids' day off school on Monday, Feb. 17 (Presidents Day), with the Palatine Park District. The School's Out Fun series at Falcon Park Recreation Center, 2195 N. Hicks Road, gives your child, ages 5-13, a day filled with fun games on the turf and in the gym, crafts and more. Cost is $40 for Palatine Park District residents and $60 for nonresidents.

The full-day program is offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Morning extended hours, for those enrolled in the full day program, are offered from 7-9 a.m., for an additional cost of $12 for residents and $15 for nonresidents. Evening extended hours for those enrolled in the full-day program, are offered from 4-6 p.m., for an additional cost of $12 for residents and $15 for nonresidents.

"School's Out Fun offers a variety of fun and engaging activities including sports, crafts, games and more," said John Wilhelm, Falcon Park facility manager.

"Instructors lead structured and unstructured activities throughout the day that cater to many different age groups. Falcon Park amenities provide a diverse activity area and include a turf field, gym, and activity rooms. With so much available, there is something fun for everyone," Wilhelm added.

A limited number of openings are available for School's Out Fun and registration is being accepted.

Falcon Park Recreation Center is a 49,000 square foot facility which includes an indoor turf field, Gymnasium featuring two basketball and three volleyball courts, indoor walking track, program and meeting rooms, and an outdoor walking path. Falcon Park Recreation Center offers a variety of room rental options for your next life event. Falcon Park's easy access to Route 53 makes it an ideal location for both local and nonlocal guests.
