Hanover Twp. now taking service award nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for the 2020 annual Hanover Township Supervisor Brian P. McGuire Community Service Awards.

The awards are designed to recognize organizations and individuals who volunteer their time to make Hanover Township an outstanding place to live, work and raise a family.

Awards are selected by a committee of dedicated volunteers from the community. Committee members include: Chairwoman Lorrie Glaser, Lori Ann Airdo, William Henderson, Kerrie Trebonsky and Cathy Mikulski.

Individuals and organizations can be nominated in any of the following categories:

• Adult Volunteer Service Award (ages 18 and older)

• Service Award

• Senior Volunteer Service Award

• Business Community Service Award

• Service Club/Organization

• Youth Volunteer Service Award (ages 18 and younger)

Award applications are available at the Hanover Township Town Hall, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett, or online at www.hanover-township.org. Nominations are due no later than Tuesday, Feb. 28.

Candidates will be judged on their leadership, commitment and impact in the community.
