Batavia Public Library hosts annual Science & Art Fair Jan. 25

The Batavia Public Library's fifth annual Science & Art Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the library, 10 S. Batavia Ave.

Families are invited to explore exhibits and participate in hands-on activities.

The open-house format features stations from FrogLady, SciTech Museum, DuPage Children's Museum, and more. Children can also build with Lego gears, and take the Green Screen or Fermilab Physics challenges.

On the day of the fair, timed tickets will be available at the Youth Services Desk for a mini art lesson with Water Street Studios for students ages 7 to 14.

No registration is required.

Activities are suitable for children preschool age and older. For information, call the library's youth services department, (630) 879-1393, ext. 500.

The Science & Art Fair is sponsored by the Friends of the Batavia Public Library.
