Ella's Friends to host sixth annual Chocolate Festival Feb. 9 in Hampshire

Have a taste for chocolate?

Then you will want to attend the sixth annual "Chocolate Fest," sponsored by Ella's Friends, the support group for the Ella Johnson Memorial Library in Hampshire.

The event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Hampshire Township Building, 170 Mill Ave., Hampshire.

Chocolate creations, crafted by local community members, will be available for sampling.

And you can help to make the event more fun by entering your own chocolate creations in one or more of five categories: cookies, brownies/bars, candy, gluten-free and bakers under age 12.

Entry forms are available at the library or at the "Friends" tab on the library's website at ellajohnsonlibrary.org.

Entry forms are due Friday, Jan. 31.

Prizes will be awarded in each category and there will also be People's Choice and Judge's Choice awards.

This event is free, thanks to the support of the Hampshire branch of Resource Bank.
