Schaumburg library to host Noon Year's Eve party

Families can welcome the new year with a Noon Year's Eve Party from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 30, at the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Festivities will be held in various areas on the first floor. Registration is not necessary, but free tickets are required for the dance party.

During the event, children can engage in a new year's STEAM project in Workshop, a craft project at tables in kidsZone, ningo in the Craft Room, and a dance party at 10:30 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. in the Program Room.

Free tickets for the dance party will be available in kidsZone 30 minutes prior to the program.

At noon, everyone will gather in the Commons for a countdown and balloon drop. Kids are welcome to keep the balloons they catch.
