Dundee Community High School to host 50th reunion in 2020

The Dundee Community High School Class of 1970 is planning its 50th reunion for 2020.

The reunion will be held the weekend of Oct. 2-3 in East and West Dundee, Illinois.

Dust off those 50-year-old memories of high school life and mark your calendar!

On Friday evening, Oct. 2, there will be an "icebreaker" gathering at Rosie O'Hare's Public House in East Dundee. It is a time to reconnect and "Toast a Beer to 50 Years!"

On Saturday, Oct. 3, enjoy a pizza party reunion at the VFW Hall in West Dundee. The theme will be "Youth Fades but Memories are Forever!"

The reunion steering committee hopes to encourage a record-setting return of its Class of 1970 classmates!

The goal of the committee is to plan a fun and informal weekend that encourages great conversation, sharing, nostalgia, music, and an all-around great time at a reasonable price. Stuffy is out as we let the good times roll!

For those traveling from a distance, reserving a block of hotel rooms is underway. Watch for updates! Several community activities are also in the works including a Sunday morning breakfast finale, so it's time to get connected!
