Buffalo Grove Police Trivia Night raises money for Special Olympics

The Buffalo Grove Police Department hosted its fourth annual Trivia Night Nov. 9 to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.

More than 225 participants gathered for 10 rounds of trivia questions created by and emceed by Buffalo Grove Police Chief Steven Casstevens. There also was live music performed by guitarist Glen Murschel.

At the conclusion of the evening, the total amount raised for Special Olympics Illinois was $15,028.95, bringing the department's yearly total for 2019 to more than $64,000. This is the highest amount ever raised during one year for the agency.
