Help Fox Valley Park Foundation provide recreation for all on Giving Tuesday

Imagine enriching the life of a veteran with a disability or chronic illness by providing life-changing physical therapy or personal training sessions. Imagine seeing the smile on a child's face as she learns how to swim and be safe in the water. Or imagine giving underserved youth the opportunity to participate in a camp program and just enjoy being a kid!

The Fox Valley Park Foundation believes everyone deserves access to recreation! They strive to improve the quality of life for all residents - physically, mentally and socially - and create a culture of connectivity and inclusive experiences by providing opportunities to participate in Fox Valley Park District programs regardless of financial capability.

This Giving Tuesday, they need you to help them help others.

Their goal is to raise $10,000 to send 50 kids to camp, teach 50 kids to swim, and help 20 disabled veterans improve their physical well-being.

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, your gift will help make access to recreation for all a reality!

The Fox Valley Park Foundation was established in 1981 as a nonprofit corporation to promote social equity, health and wellness, and conservation for the Fox Valley Park District community. The Park Foundation is an IRS 501(c)(3) organization. The board is comprised of park district commissioners and members from the community at large.

Aided by generous supporters, the foundation provides access to recreation for all residents regardless of financial ability.

The signature event is the annual Golf for Kids Benefit Outing at Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora in June, which draws hundreds of enthusiastic participants who support its mission.
