Santa House returns to the Naperville Riverwalk Nov. 30

Preparations are under way at the Naperville Park District to welcome Santa once again to his home on the Riverwalk this holiday season.

Santa House, presented by Woody Buick GMC, will open its doors on Saturday, Nov. 30, for the public to visit Santa on weekends and on some weeknights through Dec. 22.

In addition to the public hours, Santa House will open for a series of special nights that require a reservation.

These evenings include "Special Needs Nights" from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday to Wednesday, Dec. 2-4 and Thursday, Dec. 12; "Pet Night" from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9; and Military and First Responders Night from 4:30-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Reservations for a time to visit Santa on any of these evenings will be available online at www.napervilleparks.org/santahouse.

No reservations are needed when visiting Santa House during the public hours, which include:

• Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 7-8 from 12:30 to 6 p.m.

• Dec. 6, 13 and 17-20 from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

• Dec. 14-15 and 21-22 from 12:30 to 7 p.m.

Visiting Santa is free, with the option of purchasing photos with Santa at $8 each or $15 for two.

Santa House is supported each year by many volunteers from the community, who act as Santa's elves.

Once again, local businesses and nonprofit partners are sponsoring every day of the event, with many providing unique activities or giveaways for visitors.
