Deadline nears for 'Visual Harmony'

Norris Cultural Arts Center, 1040 Dunham Road in St. Charles, is taking applications for artwork for the "Visual Harmony" exhibit. The deadline is Monday, Nov. 18.

Submissions will be judged for inclusion in The Norris gallery winter exhibit.

Work in this juried show depicts patterns in nature, design, construction or wherever visual harmony is seen in the world. It is open to all media and content.

The "Visual Harmony" exhibit will be Jan. 11 to Feb. 16. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday to Sunday.

A reception and awards presentation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26.

A non-refundable entry fee of $30 is charged to each artist.

The Norris, a generous gift to the Fox Valley from the Norris Foundation, includes an art exhibition gallery and a 1,000-seat theater.
