Geneva High School to put on its first fall musical Nov. 7-9

Geneva High School will present "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. "

You can support our very own Geneva High School's actors and actresses as they take to the stage for the high school's first fall musical, the Tony Award-winning comedy.

This show follows an eclectic group of students as they vie for the title of regional spelling bee champ - hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. This witty coming-of-age story is bursting with heart, and an unforgettable experience that chronicles all the joy, torment, and passion of those who love to compete. 12 spellers enter; one speller leaves. At least the losers get a juice box.

The musical will be performed at 7 p.m. Thursday to Saturday, Nov. 7-9, at the high school, 416 McKinley Ave.

Online tickets are $15, $10 for seniors and students in preschool through 12th grade. Visit www.ticketpeak.co/genevahighschool304.

Tickets at the door are $20, $15 for seniors and students.
