Monarch Landing hosts 11th annual Club and Committee Fair

Earlier this month, Monarch Landing held its 11th annual Club and Committee Fair. The event featured exhibits showcasing the abundant programming at the senior living community.

"The residents of Monarch Landing have so many diverse talents and interests. This annual event that promotes the resident-driven programming, reflects that," said Sherry DeFillippo, lifestyles manager at Monarch Landing. "We had approximately 50 different groups displaying what they do. Committees at the fair included the bike club, investing club/wealth management, travel club, model railroad, and more. We have something for just about every hobby, ability, and talent. If there's something that a resident is interested in and we don't already have a club or program in place, we encourage our residents to go ahead and, with our support, get something started."

DeFillippo added, "This event is especially nice for those residents who are new, as it assists them in getting involved. It's also nice, though, for residents who are looking to get more involved with the community."
