Heritage Planning Partners Michael Ferak Receives Certified Financial Planner Certification

Michael Ferak, CFP® , a Financial Planning Coordinator with Heritage Planning Partners and Northwestern Mutual - Chicago, has been authorized by the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Board of Standards Inc. to use the CFP® certification marks in accordance with CFP Board certification requirements.

As a Financial Planning Coordinator, Mike works closely with the founding members of Heritage Planning Partners and plays an instrumental role in preparing holistic financial plans for clients.

The CFP® certification recognizes individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements, have successfully completed financial planning coursework and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination covering the following areas: the financial planning process, risk management, investments, tax planning and management, retirement and employee benefits, and estate planning. CFP® certificants must also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and Financial Planning Practice Standards.

Ferak joined Northwestern Mutual - Chicago in 2017. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Consumer Economics and Finance with a concentration in Financial Planning from the University of Illinois. He holds Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 66 licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses.
