Ella's Friends to host silent fine art auction Nov. 21

Ella's Friends, the support group for the Ella Johnson Memorial Library in Hampshire, is hosting a silent fine art auction on Thursday, Nov. 21.

Items, including quilts, paintings, a raw edge table and a chain-saw sculpture, have been donated by local artists.

The items will be on display at the library, 109 S. State St., in Hampshire, beginning Friday, Nov. 2.

Bids will be accepted at the front desk of the library until 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21.

The winning bidder will be announced that evening after the monthly Living Room Concert.

Any of these items would make great Christmas gifts and help to support the library at the same time.

Any money raised by Ella's Friends is used to support programs and buy materials not in the library's regular budget.

Ella's Friends hold their regular meetings on the first Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m.
