Nature Presentation on Coyotes & Other Canines in Long Grove

The Long Grove Park District is hosting a one-hour nature talk on Coyotes & Other Canines of Lake County at Reed-Turner Nature Center. Learn about the natural history and special adaptations of coyotes and other canines, such as foxes and wolves, through experiences with natural artifacts. Did you know that coyotes' have a remarkable sense of smell? And, their sense of sight and hearing are also pretty exceptional. This program is Thursday, October 10th from 1pm to 2pm.

Reed-Turner Woodland Nature Center is at 3849 Old McHenry Road in Long Grove. The program fee is $5. These programs are suggested for ages 16 years old and up. For more information, call the Long Grove Park District at 847-438-4743 or email syoung@lgparks.org.
