Historic West Dundee church building gets new life as the Half Full Nest Vintage Market

After five months of renovations and restorations, West Dundee's historic 1882 former church building located at 205 W. Main St. will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Sept. 14, as the Half Full Nest Vintage Market.

Angelike Ajroja of Sleepy Hollow has been drawn to the charming old country church for the past two decades and purchased it in the spring to operate her store.

The Half Full Nest Vintage Market offers a carefully curated collection of all things lovely for the nest and beyond. They specialize in all types of vintage styles, from Farmhouse, to French Country, to Industrial, to Mid Century Modern and everything in between with the belief that your home should be a reflection of your unique personality, a place where you can find peace and comfort surrounded by specially selected objects that make you smile.

The Sept. 14 grand opening celebration will begin at 10 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by special discounts, prizes and refreshments. For additional information, visit www.thehalffullnest.com or www.facebook.com/thehalffullnest.
