TesserAct Theater Ensemble to perform Shakespeare comedy

Join for Barrington's continuing series of Summer Fun Thursdays as The TesserAct Theater Ensemble presents "A Midsummer Night's Dream" for an outdoor evening of Shakespeare in the Park.

The performance will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, in Memorial Park, across from Hough Street School. Rain location is Barrington's White House third floor ballroom, 145 W. Bring your loved ones, blankets, and lawn chairs for live performance of a classic tale of love, enchantment, fairies and deceit for the whole family. Free admission and free popcorn.

The TesserAct Theater Ensemble prides itself on being the place where community and performing arts meet. All their actors, staff, crew and board members are from the Chicago area.

The Barrington Bank & Trust Family Fun Zone will also be open at 6 p.m. on Cook and Station streets and features activities for all, including candy and ice cream by SweetSpot of Barrington, SOUL Harbour therapy animals, free massages by Deignan Chiropractic, Animal House Shelter, balloon artistry, face painting and games by Bob the DJ.
