Bridget Pendergast named campus recruiter for Northwestern Mutual-Chicago

Northwestern Mutual - Chicago, a leading financial planning firm with offices in downtown Chicago, Deerfield, Oak Brook and Rosemont, has named Bridget Pendergast a campus recruiter.

"As a campus recruiter, Bridget will provide college students and recent graduates with an opportunity to get a hands-on learning experience as they discover a career with impact and purpose," said Jeannie Andresen, director of internship development. "We're looking forward to her deepening our relationships with area colleges through active recruitment and selection of top-tier, motivated college students."

Northwestern Mutual-Chicago has two programs for young professionals to explore the career of a financial representative.

The Top 10 internship program is designed for junior and senior college students to learn about themselves, the world of business and the profound impact of helping young individuals plan for their financial security. It also allows students to expand their professional network and develop lifelong skills.

Northwestern Mutual-Chicago's Career Development Program is designed for recent graduates that enable young professionals to grow their skills, gain knowledge and expertise to serve as the foundation of a career as a financial representative through extensive training, coaching and mentoring.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh, Pendergast earned a bachelor's degree in human resource management.
