Toast Bloody Mary Fest in Highwood July 28

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Celebrate Highwood's Bloody Mary Fest.

Mixologists from local bars and restaurants will share their recipes with the public while competing for the title of "Best Bloody Mary in the Midwest."

Awards will include a People's Choice Award chosen by attendee vote - with more than 15 different vendors to choose from - as well as formal judging by Chicago media personalities on the Best Bloody Mary and Best Garnish.

The event will also include live music, a variety of food and specialty artisan vendors.

Highwood's Bloody Mary Fest takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 28, in Everts Park, 102 Highwood Ave., Highwood. Admission is free. Tickets are required for alcohol sales.
