St. Charles Episcopal Church to welcome Rev. Deacon Steve Lowe Aug. 4
St. Charles Episcopal Church is pleased to welcome the Rev. Deacon Steve Lowe to the staff.
With 14 years of experience as an ordained deacon, Lowe joins the St. Charles church having served in many ministries to the homeless in the Fox River Valley.
St. Charles Episcopal Church has a long history of joyfully serving Christ through hunger relief ministries providing meals at Hesed House in Aurora, Trinity Episcopal Church Sandwich Board in Aurora, and through the church's own Free Spaghetti Dinner.
All are welcome to join the congregation as they mark the arrival of Deacon Steve and his wife, Lela, on their first Sunday on Aug. 4, and at the Celebration of New Ministry on Aug. 18 during the 9:30 a.m. all-parish Coffee Café and celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 10:45 a.m.
St. Charles Episcopal Church is located at 994 N. Fifth Ave. in St. Charles. Sunday services are at 8:30 and 10:45 a.m.
