Schaumburg Township offers pet vaccine clinic July 23

Schaumburg Township will host its annual rabies and microchip clinic for pets three months and older from 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, in the township's Highway Department garage at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

Rabies shots for dogs and cats are $7 for a one-year vaccine and $21 for a three-year vaccine. The fee for ferrets is $9 for a one-year rabies vaccine.

National registration is $19.95 per animal for the life of the animal with no annual fees.

Payment is by cash or check only. The clinic is first come, first served. Pet owners must be Cook County residents and present a valid driver's license or state ID.
