Show celebrates Batavia, St. Charles art venues

The "50th Anniversary Show" opens Saturday, July 13, at the Norris Cultural Arts Center in St. Charles. The show celebrates the 10th anniversary of Water Street Studios in Batavia and the 40th anniversary of Fine Line Creative Arts Center in St. Charles. Work by artists and instructors will be on display through Aug. 21.

A public reception for the artists will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 21, at the arts center, 1040 Dunham Road. Gallery admission and parking are free.

Save the date for Water Street Studios' 10th Anniversary Show from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 13. The 10th Anniversary Show is free and open to the public. The 10th Anniversary Show will feature an art auction, cash bar, family activities and more.

Water Street Studios is a 501(c) (3) for-purpose art center in downtown Batavia. The mission is to help make the arts more accessible to the Fox Valley region and beyond. Their vision is to be a cultural hub in the Midwest. Water Street Studios is at 160 S. Water St. in downtown Batavia.
