Oswego resident Len Wass, a U.S. Navy veteran, will conclude his two-part series "The Nazi Holocaust in World War II" on Tuesday, July 16, at Grandma's Table Restaurant, 1700 Douglas Ave. in Montgomery.
The public is invited.
Wass will keynote a 5:45 p.m. monthly dinner meeting by Aurora Navy League Council 247. Dinners will be available for $21 or $13.
Wass' presentation will open with slides of concentration camps in Auschwitz, Birkenau and Terezin.
His main feature will be a 90-minute video titled "The Decent One," the story of Heinrich Himmler. One of Adolf Hitler's inner-circle, Himmler created and oversaw Nazi SS, SA and Gestapo units. He also oversaw all concentration camps and implemented the Nazi's extermination of Jews in the Third Reich.
