Schaumburg Library to host 'Stranger Things' escape room

Patrons ages 12 to 19 can use clues to solve puzzles in the "Stranger Things Escape Room" from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, June 28, in the Rasmussen North Room of the Schaumburg Township Library, 130 S. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Decorated to resemble the "Stranger Things" house, the Rasmussen Room will contain puzzles that must be solved "before you get trapped in the Upside Down with the Demogorgon," according to the program description.

Teens are also invited to sign up for the Summer Challenge, a summerlong program in which they can participate by reading and completing activities to earn badges. Registration takes place on the library's website, at the Teen Desk in the Central Library in Schaumburg, or at the Hoffman Estates or Hanover Park branches.

For more information on teen programs, visit SchaumburgLibrary.org.
