Plato Center club to host potluck June 21

On Friday, June 21, the Plato Center for Home and Community Education will meet for the annual potluck luncheon at noon at Nancy Haire's home.

Gina Kelm and Ann Rempfer are in charge of this fun meeting. Invitations were passed out at the last meeting.

The last meeting featured an informative lesson "Cooking for One or Two that was presented by Joan Rossi and Joan Ziethen. The light lunch served by hostesses Barbara Allen, Dee Bolt and Muriel Covington featured recipes from the lesson.

The summer will be busy for the Plato Center HCE as there will be summer sewing sessions at Nancy's house. July 17-18 and Aug. 14-15 will promote cough pillows and walker bag workshops. There are other jobs other than sewing that need doing so come and join them for the sewing sessions. Call Joan at (847) 931-8120 for more information.
