Lombard Ale Fest returns for sixth year June 8

Kick off your summer with Lombard Ale Fest at noon Saturday, June 8, at 150 S. Park Ave., just north of Lilacia Park and next to the Lombard Metra Station.

The fest will be a celebration of summer seasonal beers, food and live music. Proceeds will benefit the Glenbard East Booster Club, Sacred Heart Parish and the Lombard Historical Society.

Tickets are available online at lombardalefest.com and, if still available, at the gate: $59 for Early Entry, from noon to 5 p.m. and $49 for general admission, from 1 to 5 p.m. Save $6 by buying tickets in advance.

The sixth annual fest will feature more than 80 craft beers from 40 local and regional breweries including Lombard's Noon Whistle Brewing as well as Chicago area brewers Pollyanna Brewing, Lunar Brewing, Penrose, Revolution and Two Brothers. Other brewers include 51st Ward, Allagash, Emmett's, Firestone Walker, Left Hand Brewery, Lagunitas, and from Hawaii, Kona Brewing. In addition, hard cider will be available from Angry Orchard and Crispin Brewers.

Miller's Ale House and several of Chicago area's favorite food trucks will provide scrumptious eats to savor with your brew, and providing that "party vibe," will be live music from a variety of Chicago-based performers including the Midlothian Pipe Band.

The Glenbard East Athletic Booster Club represents 27 athletic programs, with a primary purpose of providing financial support to Glenbard East athletic teams and to support our student athletes.
