Senior Selfies

Although they're not the traditional clientele, they practiced their duck faces, fish gapes, squinches, and model pouts in preparation for the big event.

On Tuesday, May 21st, residents of GreenFields of Geneva senior living community visited ClubPhotoBooth at Stratford Square in Bloomingdale. Launched earlier this year, ClubPhotoBooth is a selfie studio designed to help visitors have fun and "level up their selfies," with decorated rooms including an emoji bathtub, confetti dome, disco room, balloon art, and more.

ClubPhotoBooth has been reaching out to school groups and local sports teams and was a perfect fit for the less than conventional group of seniors.

"Our residents are really vibrant and are always on board to do things that are trending. They enjoy technology and most of all, love having fun. Since they all have smartphones and cameras, this was a perfect adventure," said Emily Abrahamson, life enrichment manager at GreenFields. "They're pretty sure that their teenaged grandchildren are going to be both impressed and jealous!"
