Schaumburg Library organizing summer bus trips

A variety of bus trips from the Schaumburg Township District Library are scheduled to take place this summer.

Registration, either in person or by phone, begins at 9 a.m. Monday, June 3.

The trips kick off with "Into the Breeches," Wednesday, June 5, at the Northlight Theatre in Skokie.

The Spectacular Gardens of Rock River Valley will include two destinations Tuesday, June 11. Stops include the Rotary Botanical Gardens in Janesville, Wisconsin and the Anderson Japanese Gardens in Rockford.

A trip to "The Music Man" at Chicago's Goodman Theatre is Wednesday, July 3.

A Chicago Architectural Cruise is Monday, July 8.

A trip to Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" at the Drury Lane Theatre is Wednesday, July 17.

"The City Beautiful Movement" inspired by the 1893 World's Fair is the theme of a Chicago tour Friday, July 26.
