A perfect night for Red Oak Elementary at McDonald's

Highland Park| Red Oak Elementary School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support the school PTO.

Teachers and support staff from Red Oak volunteered behind the counter and at the Drive-Thru on Thursday, May 7, 2019, at the Highland Park McDonald's located on 1st Street., where they served students and their families in a fundraiser.

Teachers worked hard selling pies and wearing the pie box during this three-hour event. Many Red Oak teachers worked during this event . Principal Bellini was at the event talking with families and taking lots of pictures with the kids.

The proceeds from the Apple Pies sold went directly to benefit the PTO and Red Oak Elementary School. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were also donated directly to the PTO.

Chris Prucnal, Owner-Operator of the Highland Park McDonald's is delighted to participate in the worthy cause for education and the community.
