Woodland Primary School to Host 'Frog Lady' Event

Gages Lake-Woodland School District 50's Primary School will welcome "The Frog Lady" as she presents her herpetology (reptiles and amphibians) program to kindergarten students April 23, 24, and 25.

Presentations will take place at the following times each day: 9:50 a.m., 10:25 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:10 p.m., 1:45 p.m., and 2:25 p.m. at the school, 17366 W. Gages Lake Road, Gages Lake.

Deb Kroh, also known as "The Frog Lady", is an award-winning professional naturalist. Her work has been featured on "Animal Planet," "Oprah," and "WGN Morning Show." During the herpetology presentation students will learn about the similarities and differences between reptiles and amphibians. Participants will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with over 20 live animals.

This presentation is funded by the Woodland School District 50 Parent Teacher Association.
