Join pizza party to benefit Aurora preschool

A pizza and pasta buffet fundraiser Thursday, March 21, will benefit Wesley United Methodist Church of Aurora preschool. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Luigi's Pizza and Fun Center, 732 Prairie St. in Aurora.

The public is invited. The menu includes all-you-can-eat pizza, pasta, salad, jello and fruit punch beverage. Other features are raffle baskets and Luigi's laser tag and game rooms.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for children ages 2-12 and $25 for two adults and children in immediate family. Raffle tickets are $1 each or $5 for six tickets.

Proceeds will help fund scholarships for preschool students.

Kelly McCleary, preschool director said, "The preschool's scholarship fund assists more than 30 percent of students. More than $15,000 is raised annually through fundraisers, gifts and donations to the scholarship fund."

Tickets are available at the door or at the church, 14 N. May St. in Aurora.

Founded in 1950, the preschool provides quality early childhood learning by six teachers for 40 children ages 3-5. Classes meet from 9 to 11:30 a.m. weekdays. Tuition discounts are available for multiple children from one family.

Highlights include center-based activities, free play, art projects, group games, weekly fitness class, healthy snacks and indoor gym and outdoor playground.
