Student-Directed Vignettes Coming to Woodland Middle School Stage on April 12 and 13

Gurnee--Woodland Middle School Drama Club will present "Step Into the Spotlight," a series of four vignettes on Friday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 13 at 6 p.m. in Cafeteria A at the Middle School, 7000 Washington St., Gurnee.

Each of the four plays are directed by a Woodland Middle School Drama club member.

The School Talent Show is a delightful farce of a typical school talent show. Be ready to laugh with Back To The Summer, a quirky time travel story filled with 80s music, pirates, and Alexander Graham Bell! Next, Hi, We Thought You Were Dead shows what happens when rumors run wild in the age of technology. Lastly, Beggar's Night is a comedy that takes place on Halloween night. The undead have arrived and they love Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

Tickets will be sold at the door. One ticket is good for the four vignettes. They are $3 for students (under 13 years of age) and $5 for adults.

The director for "Step Into the Spotlight" is Sara Roediger.

Members of the media are encouraged to take photos at the dress rehearsal beginning at 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 11.
