St. Thomas of Villanova Teachers Shake Things up at McDonald's

Arlington Heights| St. Thomas Of Villanova School students gave teachers an A-plus on their fundraising efforts to support the Schools McTeacher's Night.

Several teachers volunteered behind the counter on Wednesday, February 27th at the Arlington Heights McDonald's located on Dundee Road. The teachers worked hard to serve students and their families in a fundraiser for St. Thomas of Villanova School.

Mrs. Mary Brinkman, Principal of St. Thomas of Villanova, volunteered to work this event even though it was her birthday. The children, families, and staff celebrated by singing Happy Birthday to her during the event.

Teacher Leanna Kotlarz wore the pie box during the event alongside pie sellers Meghan Flakenberg and Lori Smithe. They all did a great job.

The proceeds from the 85 pies went directly to benefit St. Thomas of Villanova School. Twenty percent of the proceeds from the McTeacher's Night sales were donated directly to the school as well.
