Naperville planning 95th Street Market

Naperville Park District and the 95th Street Library are partnering again in 2019 to host the 95th Street Farmers Market, offering locally grown fruits and vegetables and homemade breads, jams, freshly roasted coffee, organic meat and other items.

The market will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursdays in the parking lot of the 95th Street Library, 3015 Cedar Glade Drive in Naperville. The market opens June 6 and continues through Sept. 26.

New vendors are invited to join in 2019. Those offering items such as cheese, honey, knife sharpening or gourmet popcorn are encouraged to apply, as these products and services will add variety to the market.

Interested vendors may apply online by March 1 at www.napervilleparks.org/farmersmarket and can contact Andrea Coates at acoates@napervilleparks.org with questions.

In 2018, the total attendance at the farmers market was 12,142, averaging 714 patrons per week. The market brought locally grown, fresh food to a convenient location for those living in south Naperville.

"We look forward to hosting the market again this year, to build on last year's success with even more variety to offer as more people learn about this weekly event in their area," said Coates.
