Murder mystery dinner goes gangster

Improv Playhouse Dinner Theater will present "Love You To Death," an interactive murder mystery, Valentine's weekend at Jimmy's Charhouse, 1413 Peterson Road, Libertyville.

The event starts at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16.

Set in Chicago in the fabulous '40s, guests can enjoy the gangster ambience complete with passwords, crooked officials, and an inside job while.

An Improv Playhouse "Detective" will lead the evening along with another actor, and the guests are the primary suspects. Audience members participate to solve the crime.

Tickets include a three-course meal featuring London broil, chicken Parmesan and spaghettini aglio e olio. A cash bar will be available. Props, storylines and planted clues to solve the crime will be provided. Guests can come in costume should they choose.

Tickets are $59.95 per person. For reservations, call Improv Playhouse Theater, at (847) 968-4529 or visit improvplayhouse.com.
