Ella's Friends to host 'Festival of Chocolate' Feb. 10

Have a taste for chocolate?

Stop by the fifth annual "Festival of Chocolate," sponsored by Ella's Friends, a 501(c) organization made up of dedicated volunteers who help raise funds to support services at Ella Johnson Memorial Public Library in Hampshire.

The event will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Resource Bank community room, 135 W. Oak Knoll Drive (Route 72) in Hampshire.

Chocolate creations, crafted by local community members, will be available for sampling.

Competitors have entered chocolate creations in one or more of the five categories: cookies, brownies/bars, candy, gluten-free, and bakers younger than 12.

For information on the event, find the "Friends" tab on the library website, www.ellajohnsonlibrary.org.

A panel of judges will select the top three entries in each category.

Prizes will be awarded in each category and there also will be a People's Choice and Judge's Choice awards.

This event is free, thanks to Resource Bank.
