Learn what's new at Naperville parks with six-part podcast series
Now in its second year, Naperville Park District's ParkTalk podcast has released the "2019 State of the Park District" podcast series, available at www.napervilleparks.org/podcasts.
The audio show features interviews with Park Board President Mike Reilly, Executive Director Ray McGury and other staff leaders who provide insights into park district projects, accomplishments and what's new in 2019.
The State of the Park District podcast series is published in six episodes, beginning with an introduction by Reilly and McGury who discuss the theme of connecting the community.
The podcast host, Sameera Luthman, director of marketing and communications, interviews key park district staff to share their first-hand knowledge of the following topics:
• 2019 capital projects;
• The new golf master plan;
• Environmental sustainability in the parks;
• Growth of Fort Hill Activity Center programs and use;
• Pickleball as an emerging sport;
• Employment opportunities and staffing plans;
• New technology at the park district;
• Community partnerships and the new programs and facilities they support
