Winter Walk in Japanese Garden set for Feb. 10 and March 10

Fabyan Villa Museum and Japanese Garden and Preservation Partners of the Fox Valley will hold a Winter Walk in the Japanese Garden at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10 and March 10.

There must be at least an inch of snow on the ground for the walk to take place. If there is no snow, the walk will not happen.

The Japanese garden at Fabyan is a garden of all seasons, meaning the vistas change and adapt depending on what foliage is in season, and it is deliberately designed to look like a whole other world in the snow. Join for an exploratory tour and the unique experience of doing a garden walk in the middle of winter. Hot cocoa will be provided.

Cost of attendance is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors, $2 for kids. Fabyan Villa and Museum and Japanese Garden is at 1925 S. Batavia Ave., Geneva.

Dress warmly. Call at (630) 377-6424 or check the website to check the status on the morning of the event.
