Woodland Accepting Interest in Board Vacancy Until January 23

Woodland Community Consolidated School District 50 is accepting letters of interest to fill the vacancy resulting from the resignation of Board member Joyce Mason.

The individual selected will serve on the School Board from the date of appointment to April 2021.

Woodland School District 50 empowers our children to reach their potential by providing exceptional learning experiences that foster critical thinking in a nurturing learning community.

Interested persons for the Board vacancy must be a United States citizen, at least 18 years of age, a resident of Illinois and the District for at least one year immediately preceding the appointment, a registered voter, not a child sex offender, not hold another incompatible public office, not have a prohibited interest in any contract with the District, not hold certain types of prohibited State or federal employment and not a school trustee.
