Lutheran Life Communities announced that Lori Smith has accepted the offer to serve the organization as chief operations and nursing officer, effective Feb. 4.
Following a nationwide search for an exceptional leader with the knowledge, experience, talent and vision to advance operations and health care excellence across Lutheran Life Communities, Smith stood out as the ideal candidate.
Smith brings nearly 25 years of nursing and leadership experience with a fresh outlook and a renewed emphasis on operational and service excellence.

Smith shares, "I am excited to be joining Lutheran Life Communities and eager to contribute, alongside my new colleagues, toward the next chapter of excellence in this organization's faithful history."
