The North Aurora Mothers Club, a local nonprofit made up of about 60 women in the North Aurora area, is celebrating its 21st year.

As part of the club's "Operation Christmas program, they partner with West Aurora Unit District 129 which refers families in need to the program, work with local businesses and churches to fulfill each family's Christmas needs and wants, and organize food drives with the local schools to provide a bin of nonperishables to each family.

This year, with the help of volunteers and sponsors, the club is able to help 34 families in the North Aurora area.
