GOP candidates to speak at Schaumburg breakfast Oct. 27

Republican Illinois attorney general candidate Erika Harold and state treasurer candidate Jim Dodge will speak at the Schaumburg Township Republican Organization's monthly breakfast meeting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at Chandler's Chophouse, 401 N. Roselle Road in Schaumburg.

Wayne Messmer will sing the national anthem at the beginning of the program, followed by some brief personal remarks from two veterans. Some other surprises are planned for the veterans.

To help defray the cost of the hot breakfast buffet, the organization asks for a $15 contribution from STRO members and a $20 contribution from nonmembers.
