CBBEL Receives Employer of the Year Award

The Illinois Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) honored Christopher B. Burke Engineering, Ltd. (CBBEL) with the 2018 Employer of the Year Award last night at its annual awards dinner.

The award recognizes employers who encourage their engineers to actively participate in ASCE and who support and encourage both technical and professional growth.

"Here at CBBEL we encourage each other to be Citizen Engineers, someone who leaves a positive impact by supporting the communities where we live and work," said Christopher B. Burke, PhD, PE, D.WRE, Dist.M.ASCE, and President of CBBEL. "We're incredibly grateful to the Illinois Section of the ASCE for this recognition."

In choosing CBBEL for the award, ASCE considered CBBEL staff members' involvement in more than 40 professional organizations, its focus on educating the next generation of engineers and its forward-thinking and environmentally-friendly corporate culture.
