'CEO Unplugged' to feature local JP Morgan Chase Call Center leader

Find out how Leslie Maloney, senior executive with Elgin's JPMorgan Chase Call Center defines her leadership style at the next Elgin Area Chamber of Commerce popular series, "CEO Unplugged," sponsored by the Grand Victoria Casino.

The luncheon will be held Thursday, Sept. 27, in the Victoria Ballroom at the Grand Victoria Casino pavilion, 250 S. Grove Ave. in Elgin. It begins with registration at 11:30 a.m. and the buffet luncheon at 11:45 a.m. Questions and networking to follow. Tickets are $20 in advance ($25 at the door). This "CEO Unplugged" luncheon gives you the opportunity to learn how this successful business leader adapts her experiences to provide leadership tips for your own business. The format will include an informal interview followed by a quick fire-round of questions. You'll even have a chance to ask your own questions! You will walk away with tidbits of advice from Leslie you can implement in your own business right away.

Maloney serves as the lead executive at the Chase Call Center in Elgin, one of Elgin's top 10 largest employers, and is the Executive Director for Credit Bureau Operations. In this role, she leads a team of over 450 domestic and international employees responsible for furnishing data to the Credit Bureaus and responding to consumer credit bureau disputes.

She is also the Site Leader for the Elgin site, working closely with other business leaders on mobility, talent development, community involvement, real estate strategy, business resiliency and security at the local level. The Elgin site currently employees about 2,300 people.

Maloney joined Chase in 1995 and has over 23 years of experience managing complex operations functions. Before joining Consumer Plastics Fraud in 2012, she held several leadership roles in Commercial Card Operations, responsible for a variety of functions including payment processing, new client implementations, collections, new account processing, and fraud prevention.

A native of Elgin, she is active in service to her community and is a member of the board of directors of the Elgin Area Chamber and Elgin Community College Foundation.
