Rolling Meadows Park District

Newly elected Park Board Commissioners will serve four year terms. Individuals who wish to run for a seat on the Park Board must be at least 18 years of age and a Rolling Meadows Park District resident for at least one year prior to the election. Potential candidates are allowed to circulate petitions beginning Tuesday, Sept. 18. A minimum of 35 signatures-two percent of the 1,753 ballots cast in the last Park District election- are required to complete the Nonpartisan Petition for Nomination. The official filing dates are Monday through Friday, Dec. 10 to 14 and Monday, Dec 17, 2018. If multiple candidates file simultaneously a lottery for ballot placement will be held on Dec. 17 at 4:30 PM.
