Bartlett Library's annual appeal to fund restroom renovation

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation was established in 2000 as a means to assist the Bartlett Public Library by raising additional funds to provide for capital expenses, along with library materials and services for the use of the Bartlett community, beyond funding available through property taxes and state grants.

The 2018-2019 Bartlett Public Library District Foundation Appeal Campaign began Aug. 1 and continues through April 30. This fundraising appeal is focusing on the need for the repair and replacement of components of the current restroom facilities off the lobby area of the Bartlett Public Library building.

The library foundation's goal is to raise $13,000. These restroom facilities date to the 1995 addition to the library building and are in dire need of repair and updating.

The foundation accepts donations in any amount. All donations may be mailed to: Bartlett Public Library District Foundation, 800 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, IL 60103, or dropped off at the Bartlett Public Library.

Donations to the foundation may also be made electronically through the foundation's page on the library's website, bartlettlibrary.org/involved/foundation.shtml.

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation is a 501c3 charitable organization, enabling a tax deduction for those donating funds to the foundation. Gifts of $200 and more are recognized with a plaque on the Foundation Donor Wall in the entry lobby of the Bartlett Public Library.

The Bartlett Public Library District Foundation appreciates the assistance of the Bartlett community, Bartlett businesses and Bartlett organizations as the foundation strives to raise funds to support the Bartlett Public Library - the "Best Place to Learn and Discover" - in provision of library materials and services, and providing a safe, comfortable library facility for all in the Bartlett community.
